Reader's Guide
The conflict begins when Bruno Bucciarati and his squad are tasked with transporting a mysterious girl, Trish Una, to Rome. Along the way, they discover that their boss, Diavolo, is hiding a dark secret involving Stand users and murder within the organization. Giorno Giovanna, having joined the squad with his own agenda, decides he must overthrow the current leadership to reform Passione into something better for the people of Italy. That journey leads to a tragic betrayal where Bucciarati sacrifices himself to ensure Giorno can reach Rome safely. With the original leader gone, Giorno assumes command and confronts Diavolo directly in the streets of Naples and later aboard a train. The final battle tests Giorno's resolve against King Crimson’s ability to erase time. This struggle reshapes the entire criminal underworld of Italy. Diavolo is defeated, his identity erased from existence by Giorno’s Gold Experience Requiem. Passione is left leaderless until Giorno establishes himself as the new boss. The arc concludes with a promise that the organization will no longer harm innocent citizens, fulfilling the dream of a Gang-Star.
