Enrico Pucci’s path was set long before Stone Ocean, rooted in a childhood encounter with Dio Brando. Unlike peers growing up together, Pucci met Dio as a child (around age 10) in a church, as shown in flashbacks. His goal was not personal power, but the salvation of humanity through a universe where everyone knows their destiny and thus finds happiness. To achieve this, he required Stand Users capable of handling specific tasks within the prison environment without raising suspicion from outside authorities. F.F. and Donatello Versus were recruited not solely through loyalty to Pucci initially, but through necessity and manipulation. Pucci utilized his knowledge of fate and Stands to turn them into assets. F.F.’s Stand, Foo Fighters, made her a crucial enforcer for stealth and combat, while Donatello’s Under World allowed him to dig up past events and objects from the ground, providing intelligence and resources within the prison walls.
